FC Dallas WTX is pleased to announce a partnership with C.F. Abilene. This partnership allows for local training of FC Dallas WTX Abilene players under the Direction of Pedro Encarnacion, Director of Coaching and founder of C.F. Abilene. Pedro is an Abilene native whose playing history includes McMurry University and several years in Mexico playing for Cruz Azul Hidlago and San Mateo Atenco Toluca Football Club in the 2nd and 3rd Divisions.

Coach Encarnacion has also had an extensive coaching career in Abilene in the recreational, high school and competitive leagues. Before founding C.F Abilene, he was the Director of Coaching for Abilene Vaqueros FC. He is also on the North Texas State ODP coaching staff. In 2019, he was awarded the North Texas Soccer Association, “Competitive Coach of the Year”.

Both FC Dallas WTX and C.F. Abilene are focused on providing player development opportunities for the local competitive Abilene soccer community. This partnership will allow Coach Encarnacion and the FC Dallas WTX coaching staff a player identification system which will offer weekly training and potential guest playing opportunities in the Elite Clubs National and Regional Leagues (ECNL, ECRL), National and Regional Premiere Leagues (NPL, RPL) and Classic Leagues. These potential opportunities will be available for both boys and girls.

FC Dallas WTX Vice President Rocky Van Husen commented, “Both FC Dallas WTX and C.F. Abilene are non-profit organizations focused on fostering a competitive environment for our soccer communities. This partnership will allow us to work with local kids that may have been overlooked in the past. By working together, we will be able to use all of our resources to help these kids achieve their goals. We are very excited to be able to partner with C.F. Abilene and look forward to this working relationship.”
